Following its green and red low-top Ace sneakers that dropped back in August, Gucci has returned to debut its latest silhouette: the UltraPace. From dusty suede overlays to faded palettes, the two colorways feature mash-up vintage design cues in a series of mixed materials.

First up is the "Green Pattern," accented with hits of glossy crocodile leather. The sneaker sees dark grey nubuck panels along the tongue, following through to the sidewalls and the toe cap. Delicate terry cloth lines the collars, complemented by green leather at the heel and toe cap. Topping off the upper's details, "Gucci" branding is placed at the tongue, upper eyelets and mudguards. The "Multi" colorway is constructed with the same designs, instead opting for a palette of black, red and amber. Both pieces come with Gucci's vintage logo at the tongue, while their cream-colored midsoles have been slightly scuffed, further offset by contrasting hues.

Both colorways of Gucci's UltraPace Mixed-Material Sneakers are currently available at bergdorfgoodman.com for $790 USD.

Elsewhere, ASICS' new Academic Scholar pack draws inspiration from '90s American fashion.
